What is Values-Based
Estate Planning?
Just like it sounds,
values-based estate planning places your values at the core of your estate plan.
Although this sounds like a common-sense approach, traditional estate planning
often overlooks this step.
My values-based estate
planning practice incorporates several key elements:
 | Legal
Wills -- A Legal Will
ensures that your possessions are distributed in accordance with your wishes,
not someone else's. A Legal Will establishes security for your spouse or
children. Click here to learn
more about Legal Wills. |
 | Ethical Wills
-- In addition to Legal Wills, I also incorporate Ethical Wills into my
values-based practice. An Ethical Will is a way to express your love for
family and friends, to share life lessons, and to offer hopes for
the future. Click here to learn more
about Ethical Wills. |
 | Living Wills
-- I can assist you in preparing a Living Will, which provides instructions for medical
care when you are no longer able to make such decisions. |
 | Charitable Giving
-- I help you decide if you want to leave any part of your estate to charity.
There are many practical and tax considerations in planning such gifts.

 | Natural Burials and
Environmentally Friendly Cremations
-- I provide information regarding environmentally friendly burial and
cremation options. Some of us are increasingly uncomfortable with
traditional cemeteries and are looking for a way to further our conservation
values after we have passed away. |
